Modern Elegance – Alex & Dillon

Alex & Dillon’s love story began in Savannah years ago, and after moving away to begin their careers, they knew they had to return with their friends and family to celebrate their wedding. Fun, laid back and fashion forward are the words best used to describe this amazing couple. Alex works in the fashion industry, so it’s no surprise that the dress she chose was absolutely stunning! Hand made in Israel, her fitted gown adorned with ornate lace and button detail left the every guest in awe! A gorgeous Forsyth Park ceremony was followed by dinner & dancing at Vic’s On The River where guests enjoyed some of Savannah’s finest southern fare complete with a riverfront sunset.

Classic Savannah Style – Megan & Benjamin

Megan & Benjamin’s classic Savannah wedding was an absolute dream to shoot. Beautiful flowers, a champagne cart and string quartet greeted guests as they arrived in Lafayette Square for what would be a night to remember. Savannah Dan officiated a lovely ceremony which was followed by dinner and dancing in the ballroom of The Olde Pink House. Our favorite moment of the entire event came towards the end of the evening when In lieu of the traditional cake cutting, Megan & Benjamin opted for a whimsical (and delicious) custom ice cream cart provided by Leopold’s Ice Cream!

Valentine’s Vows at Forsyth Park – Maria & Pedro

I can only hope to be half as cool as Maria and Pedro when I grow up. On a beautiful fall weekend this sweet couple hopped on their Harley and drove up to Savannah from Miami for a little getaway and to chat all things wedding photography with me. When I meet with couples having destination weddings in Savannah, I’m always curious as to why they chose our city. Maria and Pedro gushed about Savannah’s beauty, iconic southern charm and artsy vibe. Most notably, Maria said the first time she saw the Forsyth Park Fountain she knew that was exactly where she’d like to say “I do” to Pedro. Just a few months later on Valentine’s weekend, her sweet vision came to life. Maria and Pedro were surrounded by the love of their children, grandchildren and an intimate group of long time friends as they officially became husband and wife. Photographing weddings at the Forsyth Park Fountain never gets old. There’s something so magical about a bride walking towards her groom surrounded by moss draped oaks and dreamy light with that gorgeous fountain in the background. Congratulations Maria & Pedro! We’re honored to have been part of your day!
